Algonquin College’s We Saved You a Seat(WSYAS) WEBSITE - is working on a project to provide mentors to women who are graduating from We Saved You a Seat Programs:

-          Construction Engineering Technician,

-         Computer Systems Technician,

-         Computer Systems Technician (Pembroke),

-         Electrical Engineering Technician,

-         Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technician,

-         Mechanical Engineering Technology, and

-         Powerline Technician.

We are also looking for role models to be featured in a video to highlight careers in your field.

Women Role Models - We are making videos that show women at work. Young women need to see these role models, performing their daily tasks and seeing their work environments, so they can see themselves in these careers.  There still exists a lack of representation and a great confidence gap for women entering into technical fields.  These videos will showcase women succeeding in Technology careers which will inspire and attract young women to We Saved You a Seat Programs.
