Businesses that can offer any form of service in French are invited to participate in the Bonjour Welcome Campaign. The campaign aims to
1. Encourage the public to request services in French; and
2. Encourage business and organizations to offer services in both official languages
Businesses that are able to offer some services in French are added to our website, the provincial website of the campaign and are promoted in our social media.
A fun and festive event, the Franco-Foire aims to showcase services and products offered in French that are available in Kingston and the Thousand Islands region. The fair takes place every year in October.
Free for both exhibitors and visitors, this event is a great way to showcase your services.

The Welcoming and Settlement Centre by ACFOMI helps immigrant newcomers in their settlement process and employment.
The Welcoming and Settlement Centre helps immigrant newcomers to Kingston with a personalized plan that evaluates their needs and guides them through their settlementprocess. A personalized settlement plan can include other services likelanguage learning or entrepreneurial support with a mentor program.
All the services of the Welcoming and Settlement Centre are available in both official languages of Canada, French and English. The Welcoming and Settlement Centre is financed by Immigration, Refugee, Citizenship Canada.
